We comenced our pilot project in MAY 2019,which now has lead to a bigger vission on renewable energy products. Our focus on renewable energy has seen a reduction in deforestation and improved living standards within communities.

As the Founder of Usafi Green Energy Limited. We seek to address the premature deaths and environmental pollutions brought by use of dirty cooking solutions. Through our solutions we have scaled our operations from 200 cookstoves production a week to now 1000pcs a week of cookstoves produced and 20tons of briquettes per week. Our cookstoves are tested and certified by the KIRDI and KEBS to attain high standards.
Through various awards we have received and grants we have scaled up our operations and now we have a much larger land to develop new factory to meet the demand of 3000 cookstoves a week. Our target area are the kakuma refugees and marginalised host communities in asal region Northern kenya. We call upon partners and funders to help us scale up our operations by adding new modern equipment.
As our mitigation measures we established a green house that we have planted over 1000 seedlings that we provide for free alongside sales of every cookstoves. We have partnered with KEFRI and KFS to ensure we increase forest cover and get the seedlings timely.
